BLIS Services to close as of 1 July 2007
Due to discontinuation of funding, CILT, the National Centre for Languages regrets to announce the closure of BLIS Services, which will take effect from 1 July 2007. We will continue to signpost to other sources of information.

BLIS Services is the one-stop shop for language and cultural expertise. Maintained by CILT, the National Centre for Languages and its Regional Language Networks, and relaunched with a new look website in April 2005, the site consists of the following services:
BLIS Jobs - the job site for people with languages
BLIS Jobs is for job seekers with language skills and employers looking to recruit them. Employers and recruitment agencies can post vacancies free of charge and obtain access to over a thousand job seekers with language skills. Job seekers - search the current vacancies and register your profile, enabling employers to contact you directly. Enter BLIS Jobs
BLIS Professionals - database of international communication experts
BLIS Professionals is a quality-assured on-line database, containing details of over 1,200 providers of translation, interpreting, language training and cultural briefing services located throughout the UK and overseas. BLIS Courses - language courses across the UK
With BLIS Courses you can search the extensive database of language courses across the UK. This service is provided with the support of learndirect. Course providers can also add their course information via this site. Enter BLIS Courses
BLIS Facilities - directory of business language support services
If you can't find what you're looking for elsewhere on the site, BLIS Facilities may be what you need. A directory of business language support services, categories include multilingual typesetting/design, providers of interpreting equipment and suppliers of foreign language resources.
